It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...didily didily!
I love dried orange decorations, they look lovely and smell great too, especially if you have some cinnamon sticks to add to the mix.
Pre-heat your oven to 120C.
Slice the oranges to your desired thickness, I've gone for quite a thin slice.
Either place the oranges onto some waxed greaseproof paper or straight onto the oven rack. Avoid placing straight onto an oven tray as they'll stick.
Pop into the oven for approx 3 hours. Or until the oranges reach your desired 'dryness'. I may have forgotten about mine as they are quite dark! But I like them, they still smell good and are less likely to get mouldy!
Once cooled you can use a needle or kebab stick to create a hole to thread your ribbon through. I went for gardening twine for a more rustic look.
They look great with fairy lights strategically placed behind them...
